Terms of Service
Effective: To be set on launch · Last updated: 2026-05-06
By using PokerDossier, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.
1. The service
PokerDossier is a scouting tool that aggregates publicly available tournament poker results and presents them in a mobile app. We provide the app on an “as is” basis. We don’t guarantee that the data is complete, current, or free of errors — if you spot something wrong, please tell us.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to use PokerDossier. By creating an account, you confirm that you are.
3. Account and access
- Access is invite-only during beta. We may approve or deny requests at our discretion.
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity on your account.
- One account per person. Don’t share your account.
4. Acceptable use
- Don’t use the service to harass, harm, or stalk anyone.
- Don’t scrape or copy our data in bulk, automate the app, or attempt to reverse-engineer the protected portions of the service.
- Don’t resell or sublicense the service or its data without our written permission.
- Comply with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
5. Subscriptions and billing
- Premium features are sold as auto-renewing subscriptions through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple’s standard terms apply.
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage your subscription in your Apple ID settings.
- Refunds are handled by Apple per their refund policy. We can’t issue refunds directly.
- Prices may change. We’ll notify you before any price increase takes effect.
6. User content
The notes you write about players belong to you. We store them so we can show them back to you. We don’t share them with third parties or use them for anything other than running the app.
7. Tournament data
Tournament data shown in the app is collected from publicly published sources. Trademarks (e.g., WSOP, WPT) belong to their respective owners; we use them factually and do not claim affiliation.
8. Termination
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time via in-app settings or by emailing us. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms; we’ll generally give notice unless doing so would compromise the service or others’ safety.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We don’t warrant that the data is accurate, that the app will be uninterrupted, or that defects will be corrected. Use at your own discretion.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PokerDossier and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes are heard in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. If the changes are material, we’ll notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
